Communities across Brisbane’s western suburbs will come together this ANZAC Day 2026 to honour the service and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand troops. From quiet dawn services in local parks to larger marches and commemorations in nearby centres like Ipswich and Springfield, residents will have a range of opportunities to reflect, remember, and pay their respects.
Ashgrove ANZAC Day March
7:00 AM – 8:30 AM | Ashgrove Memorial Park
Serving and former Defence personnel, along with cadets and community members, take part in the ANZAC Day march to honour and acknowledge the contributions of all who have served in the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces.
Toowong ANZAC Day Dawn Service
6:00 AM | Toowong Memorial Park
A long-standing community service held at the heritage-listed memorial park, which has been a central ANZAC commemorative site since the early 1920s.
Sherwood-Indooroopilly ANZAC Day Service
6:30 AM – 7:30 AM | Sherwood Cemetery
Organised by the Sherwood-Indooroopilly RSL Sub Branch, this ANZAC Day service will feature wreath-laying, the sounding of the Last Post, and a minute of silence in remembrance.
Corinda ANZAC Day Dawn Service
5:15 AM | 2 Clewley Street, Corinda
A traditional dawn service in Brisbane’s inner-west also hosted by the Sherwood-Indooroopilly RSL, featuring wreath laying and a minute’s silence to honour service personnel.
Graceville ANZAC Day March and Service
7:00 AM – 7:30 AM | Graceville Memorial Park
Held at Graceville Memorial Park, this ANZAC Day event will include a community march followed by a commemorative service honouring those who have served.
Tennyson ANZAC Day Service
8:30 AM | RSL Memorial Park
Held at the RSL Memorial Park on Myla Terrace, Tennyson, this ANZAC Day event will feature a memorial service to honour and remember those who have served.
