Paddington Welcomes Sustainable Coffee In the Neighbourhood

Paddington has scored another major hit on the cafe front with Lower Cairns Terrace’s Swift Espresso. The cafe recently opened and is rapidly gaining popularity as a cosy place that offers excellent coffee with yummy baked treats.

Established by Angela Silcock and Nicola Duncan, who are both fond of baking, the cafe aims to give the community a place to relax and connect over a good cup of joe and delicious food.

Boasting of a pleasant white exterior that resembles a relaxed country cottage, the cafe opens to a warm and bright atmosphere with wooden windows, small tables and chairs, and a cushioned bench to relax on whilst reading a good book. This charming cafe is slowly becoming the perfect place to hang out before hitting the road or after a tiring day.

Their delicious cookies are a must-try. Choose from macadamia, chocolate chip, muesli and chocolate freckle. These cookies will give you the comfort of home.

Sustainable coffee is what sets them apart. Their coffee is from Huli by QRoasters, a well-balanced coffee that will power you throughout the day. Sound agricultural practices are behind the coffee that they serve. Purchasing their coffee ensures that the growers and workers of their coffee get a sustainable source of livelihood out of it as well.

The place is kid-friendly. Your kids must definitely try their cherry steamer, which is so good that even big kids-at-heart will enjoy the richness of it, without worrying about the additional pounds.

For to-go coffees, make use of their coffee window for a faster transaction, although Swift Espresso certainly has no problems keeping up with its name.
