A worker’s cottage in Paddington has sold for more than twice the amount the owners paid for it seven years ago.
Simon and Caitlin Macdonald purchased their Kennedy Tce house in 2009 for $575,000. After years of continuous small renovations, they were able to sell it to a Sydney couple for $1.160 million.
The house, originally with two bedrooms and one bath, is now a three-bedroom, three-bathroom abode with a new pool, outdoor shower, spa and large deck.
